Masking Policy

In keeping with the Order of the Provincial Health Officer of September 2, 2021

1. All employees, and visitors (customers and class participants) at Mothering Touch will wear a mask when moving around the store or classroom

2. Exceptions:

a. When an employee or visitor is alone in a room
b. When an instructor is delivering class content, and standing more than 2 metres away from participants
c. When participants in a yoga, fitness or childbirth class are on their mat and participating in exercise activity
d. When employees or visitors are seated, and eating or drinking

e. If the visitor is less than 12 years of age;
f. If the visitor is unable to wear a face covering because of
i. a psychological, behavioural or health condition, or
ii. a physical, cognitive or mental impairment;
g. If the visitor is unable to put on or remove a face covering without assistance
h. If the face covering is removed temporarily for the purposes of identifying the visitor wearing it;
i. While communicating with a person for whom visual cues, facial expressions, lip-reading or lip movements are essential.

 

Vaccine Policy

By order of the Provincial Health Officer, as of September 13, 2021, Mothering Touch is required to check on the vaccination status of anyone participating in our classes, workshops or groups. (We will be implementing this policy on September 11, because some of our class series start then.)

Participants in any classes will need to present their proof of vaccination and a piece of government issued ID.

Customers in the retail store do not have to present proof of vaccination.

All of Mothering Touch Staff and Instructors are fully vaccinated.
