Massage - Amanda Kihn

Massage treatments can be very beneficial for managing stress and anxiety, reducing muscle tension, and supporting your body through the unique changes that are happening throughout pregnancy and the postpartum period.

Come and enjoy a relaxing, pampering, soothing massage, lying on our special Pregnancy Pillows. It's such a relief to be able to lie on your tummy, even for a short while! Of course, the options of lying on your side or your back are also available.

Amanda Kihn

Amanda Kihn has a diploma from West Coast College of Massage Therapy and has recently satisfied all the requirements to become a Registered Massage Therapist. She also completed Mothering Touch’s DONA-approved Birth Doula Workshop and Prenatal classes. A self-proclaimed baby-whisperer, this mother of two small children delights in caring for other mothers and their babies.

Here’s a testimonial from a client of WCCMT that Amanda cared for 6-months before and after her first baby was born:

“Amanda’s treatment style is incredibly connected to what my body needs. She is an amazing communicator who always asks the right questions to ensure the most efficient and accurate treatment. After a massage with Amanda, my stress level is significantly reduced, and I always leave feeling rejuvenated and well cared for.” -HG

MD says, “I met Amanda 3 weeks before my due date. I had no idea how my fiery temper would treat us during labour, but we quickly established a trustful relationship. On the big day, her intuition was spot on. She found her place, and everything I needed her to do and beyond, with the best timing. I’m looking forward to seeing her once she’s a Registered Massage Therapist.”

Amanda is available on Mondays here at Mothering Touch. She is a certified RMT and so treatments can be claimed through extended medical insurance programs.
