Massage treatments can be very beneficial for managing stress and anxiety, reducing muscle tension, and supporting your body through the unique changes that are happening throughout pregnancy and the postpartum period.

Come and enjoy a relaxing, pampering, soothing massage, lying on our special Pregnancy table or pillows. It’s such a relief to be able to lie on your tummy, even for a short while! Of course, the options of lying on your side or your back are also available.

Registered Massage Therapist

I’m here to listen to the story of your body’s aches and pains, especially those that just won’t seem to go away, no matter what you try to do to fix them. I will do everything I can to help you move with ease as you live, work, and play.
As an RMT in BC, I am trained to use hands-on methods to assess and treat soft tissues and joints. I approach my treatments from a biopsychosocial perspective; biological, psychological, and social factors can all have significant impacts on physical pain and discomfort. The intricacy and depth of the nervous system are fascinating to me, and I use a science-based approach in my practice. I enjoy working with people at various stages of life, especially those who are pregnant, who are parents of young children, or whose grandchildren keep them young at heart.
I divide my time between taking care of my young daughter and working as a Registered Massage Therapist, offering mobile treatments (yes, in your own home!), and work on various days of the week here at Mothering Touch. I have completed continuing education in post cesarean section treatment and am excited to share that knowledge here at Mothering Touch. I am a practising member of the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia and so treatments may be claimed through extended medical insurance programs. You can learn more about me and my practice at

Amanda Kihn

Registered Massage Therapist

I am delighted to offer perinatal and paediatric massage therapy here at Mothering Touch Centre. I have additional training with Family Centre Therapeutics and Trimesters in: Infant and Paediatric Massage, Post-Caesarian Treatments, Pregnancy Massage, and RMT Birth Support Provider. I have also completed my DONA-approved Birth Doula course at Mothering Touch and am looking forward to the next course for Postpartum Doulas. I dream of creating a clinical setting where families are supported to living their best lives. My greatest joy is teaching children about informed consent and empowering them to ask questions. This is second only to supporting their parents during the childbearing years, conception, pregnancy, birth and all the joys and growing pains that happen thereafter.
