Theresa Gulliver, BSc, RTC
I am a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor with a decade of experience teaching and practising mindfulness through yoga and meditation. I became a counsellor in 2014 after completing a 3 year Transpersonal Counselling Psychology program with Clearmind International. I lead 2 weekly support groups at Mothering Touch for mothers with newborns and toddlers. I am also a group leader with Allison Rees's parenting education (LIFE) seminars, which greatly informs my work.
My work with individuals and couples is experiential, therapeutic and educational. I hold a safe space for you to explore your current challenges. I believe the challenges motherhood presents can be an opportunity to address personal challenges so they don't surface in unhealthy ways and negatively impact your family. With new tools, strategies and resources you can thrive in your family and in your life.
I am a mother to a lively 3 1/2 year old and step mother to a 10 year old. I understand the challenges of parenthood first hand.
My vision is for all mothers, step mothers and parents to feel supported by their community and secure in their own inner resources, to best care for their child(ren). Healthy families are the foundation of connected communities and a thriving, healthy world.
I look forward to connecting with you.
