First Aid for Children Over 1-year-old

Did you know that according to CPR guidelines that an infant becomes a child after age one?  This means different CPR techniques are used for toddlers.  As all parents know, dealing with a toddler is entirely different then dealing with an infant.

Child First Aid (skills for ages 1+)
In this live, interactive webinar, Holly from Safe Beginnings First Aid will cover:
+ When to phone 9-1-1 (Emergency Medical Services)
+ What to do if a child goes unconscious
+ What to do if a child stops breathing (CPR)
+ What to do if a child begins to choke
+ When to phone 8-1-1 (Nurse hotline)
+ Managing head injuries, sprains and strains and seizures
+ Treating bleeds, burns and stings
+ Injury prevention for toddlers + preschoolers (including essential toddler-proofing things to do around the home)

The webinar will run approximately 2 hours with an open Q&A session at the end.

This is a First aid basics class intended mainly for parents or relatives and does not include a Certificate or CPR Certification.

This class is for adults only.
