Pamela Bethel, CD(DONA), LCCE

PamAndCaleb_pinterestLamaze Certified Childbirth Educator, Breastfeeding Educator, & Birth Doula

Birth and parenthood are profound and transformative; they are passages that connect us to the past, present and future. They are also complex, messy, scary, incredible, joyous, frustrating, hilarious, crazy-making and sleep-depriving. In fact, just insert any adjective and it probably applies to the rich journey of parenthood. Pamela enjoys helping new and expectant parents develop their confidence and their own unique approaches to birth and parenthood.

Pamela lives with her partner Matthew and their 3 year old son/wildcard Munro. They are all actively engaged, in various capacities, with Victoria's performing arts scene.

Eva Bild, MA, AdvCD(DONA), BDT(DONA), LCCE

Founder, Director & Co-Owner of The Mothering Touch Centre; Childbirth Educator, Certified Doula and Breastfeeding Educator

Eva is the Director and Co-Owner of the Mothering Touch Centre. She is a trained Breastfeeding Educator (Douglas College) and has assisted over 500 families with breastfeeding issues.

Over the years of facilitating the Baby Groups at Mothering Touch (since 2005), Eva has come to believe that while most babies and their families work out a way to sleep well together sometime in the first 6-8 months, many babies and their parents need a more structure approach to establishing comfortable sleep patterns. So Eva provides Sleep Consulting Services, informed by her experience as a breastfeeding and parenting educator.

Eva has been working with childbearing families since 1991. She is a Lamaze-Certified Childbirth Educator and an Advanced Certified Doula and Doula Trainer with DONA International.

Eva is married to Randy Enkin, a geophysicist, who is also her business partner. Eva and Randy have three wonderful grown-up children - Daniel, Simon and Hannah - co-owners of The Mothering Touch Centre.

Amanda Kihn

Registered Massage Therapist

Amanda Kihn trained at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy. She also completed Mothering Touch’s DONA-approved Birth Doula Workshop and Prenatal classes. A self-proclaimed baby-whisperer, this mother of two small children delights in caring for other mothers and their babies.

Here’s a testimonial from a client of WCCMT that Amanda cared for 6-months before and after her first baby was born:

“Amanda’s treatment style is incredibly connected to what my body needs. She is an amazing communicator who always asks the right questions to ensure the most efficient and accurate treatment. After a massage with Amanda, my stress level is significantly reduced, and I always leave feeling rejuvenated and well cared for.” -HG

Roxoliana Prus, RMT

Registered Massage Therapist

I’m here to listen to the story of your body’s aches and pains, especially those that just won’t seem to go away, no matter what you try to do to fix them. I will do everything I can to help you move with ease as you live, work, and play.
As an RMT in BC, I am trained to use hands-on methods to assess and treat soft tissues and joints. I approach my treatments from a biopsychosocial perspective; I recognize that biological, psychological, and social factors can all have significant impacts on physical pain and discomfort. I have great respect for the intricacy and depth of the nervous system and use a science-based approach in my practice. I enjoy working with people at various stages of life, especially those who are pregnant, who are parents of young children, or whose grandchildren keep them young at heart.
I divide my time between taking care of my young daughter and working as a Registered Massage Therapist. I offer mobile treatments (yes, in your own home!) and work on various days of the week here at Mothering Touch. I am a practising member of the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia and so treatments may be claimed through extended medical insurance programs. You can learn more about me and my practice at www.roxolianaprus.com.
