This course teaches infant conscious and unconscious choking procedures, infant CPR, infant seizures, poisoning, allergic reactions and prevention of childhood related injuries.
These are the same topics as are covered in the First Aid component of Parenting The Newborn, but in a stand-alone format.
Please note, this class is for grown-ups only - if you were a baby, would you want to sit quietly through a first aid class for 2 hours? : )
$35/person (+gst) includes a First-Aid Basics book.
This course runs from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
