September is always a time for starting something new. This September, we are really excited to bring back some much loved drop-in classes and workshops and also to start some brand new ones!
Our new Fall schedule goes into effect on September 8th and we’ve got something for everyone.
DROP-IN ACTIVITY CLASSES
For parents/caregivers and babies/toddlers, check out Toddler Yoga, Sing and Sign with baby, En français!, Baby Massage, and new this year, come sing and move with Songs & Rhymes for Babies and Toddlers.
For moms, a very full Mom and Baby yoga schedule will start again. We are adding a specific Postpartum Pelvic Floor and Core Yoga class as well and non-mobile babies are welcome. Prenatal Yoga and Prenatal Strength and Stretch remain our most popular classes and there is one on offer 6 days per week!
All of our baby groups will be back starting September 8th as well:
Tuesdays at 1pm is New Baby Group for parents and babies with 0 to 4 months
Wednesdays at 1pm is Older Baby Group for parents and babies 4 to 9 months
Thursdays at 1pm is Mobile Baby Group for parents and babies from 9 to 18 months
For dads, we are very excited to announce that there will now be a specific Dad’s Group! This group is for dads and dads-to-be and is facilitated by a Clinical Counselor who is also a father himself.. Dads can bring their babies up to a year or not. This group meets on Sundays at 12:30pm.
Pregnancy Happy Hour continues on Friday evenings as well. Come have some tea and cookies and chat about being pregnant.
We are also happy to tell you about a couple of new workshops that are starting in the coming months. Birth Art Circle is a registered workshop for any expectant parent and it is a way to get creative in the planning for your new baby. In Becoming a Dad, dads will explore the new role of fatherhood and the challenges that come with co-parenting and being a father in general.
Our Motherhood Circle is back in September too. It is a registered, 6-week group class and focuses on the big themes of motherhood and the changes in the lives of new mothers.
Grandparent Class is back this Fall. Grandparents can come to this discussion based class to learn what is new in baby care.
